Due to the growing influx of requests to repair builds from other shops I’ve decided to add a service product to the webpage.
I will take your malfunctioning unit and bring it up to my standards physically (all the updated bushings, lube circuits and roller thrusts I put in my personal builds) and fix whatever the problem behavior is (slipping, dragging converter, no transbrake, overheating etc.
This is labor and consumables price. Any damaged hard parts will be added at cost. Figure this to be 12 to 15 hours at $175/hr shoprate and you’ll see this is actually quite a bargain.
Those customers with an unworkable malfunctioned D3 transbrakes from another vendor will be offered to exchange the bad VB for one of mine for a discounted rate ($675)
This includes dyno testing for all functions, and documented line pressure, cooler flow gpm and cooler line pressures locked and unlocked
Please note I will not work on any speedmaster valvebodies. There is nothing to be done for those in my limited experience with them.
