4l80e 310mm (13") High Stall (2200-2400) billet cover

Made from the OEM 4L80e core and featuring a damped single piston lock up clutch, this unit great for heavy rigs making a bunch of torque. Any time I hear Big Block, I think of this unit. 100% tig brazed turbine and furnace brazed impeller (with tig reinforcements) I also offer further upgrade to a billet clutch apply piston for $200.

Driving characteristics will be very similar to OEM at all speeds and throttle angles. This Impeller/Stator combo was the “loosest/highest” available factory stall speed. I can modify the impeller exit fin angle for a couple hundred more flash speed rpm. I do not recommend cutting the back of the stator for more stall speed as it causes an efficiency loss in the mid range that leaves a very flat and unresponsive feeling vehicle when street driven.
