4130 billet forward clutch hub (rollerized)
Great upgrade over the stock 4L80e steel clutch hub. This is the next weak link in the chain after you upgrade the input shaft. Any time a unit approaches 900hp and good insurance for heavy vehicles or transbrake vehicles. Full disclosure this is the same Chinese 4130 forging many other companies sell for more. I buy them in bulk and lathe them down for the bearing. The bearing is a nice, new US-made Ford AXOD captured torrington.
Note: I recommend against rollerizing the inside bearing. It’s important to have the two flats on the thrust washer for cooling oil to escape the lube circuit to pass over the clutches and cool them. Without the thrust washer, cooling flow is stifled and clutch life is reduced.
